Stefano Anastasio at the OrAMi 2025–2026 Seminar Series

Stefano Anastasio, from the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio of Florence, will be a guest speaker in the 2025–2026 seminar series organized by OrAMi, with a lecture to students and dedicated to the history of Italian archaeology in South-West Asia.  During the seminar, he will provide an overview of Italian expeditions in Anatolia, Transjordan, and Mesopotamia, focusing on their role in the development of archaeological research within the complex historical context between the two World Wars.  L’Archeologia italiana alla riscoperta del Medio Oriente.
