The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Ancient Civilization for the Contemporary World is pleased to announce a seminar dedicated to the most recent archaeological discoveries concerning the Middle Bronze Age palace in the lower town of Kurd Qaburstan, one of the most significant sites of the Erbil plain during the second millennium BCE.  The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Tiffany Earley-Spadoni from the University of Central Florida. The new excavations and research at Kurd Qaburstan are contributing substantially to the reconstruction of the landscape and the sociopolitical transformations that characterized the region during the Middle Bronze Age.  The seminar will provide an updated overview of the ongoing investigations, with particular focus on the discovery and study of the monumental palace of the lower town.  @ Room 303, Via Celoria 18 – Città Studi, Milan, December 9th, 2025, h. 1:30 PM
