An event dedicated to reflecting on the development of archaeology as a discipline and its future perspectives will be held at the Casa della Cultura in Milan, centered on the presentation of Giuliano Volpe’s volume, “Archeologia. Storia e metodi, paesaggi e persone” (Laterza, 2026).
The author will be in conversation with Tatiana Pedrazzi and Luca Peyronel, offering an opportunity to discuss key themes addressed in the book, including the evolution of research methods, the role of archaeology in interpreting historical landscapes, and the growing attention to the social and human dimensions of the past.
The event will be moderated by Ferruccio Capelli and forms part of the Casa della Cultura’s program of public engagement and scholarly outreach.
