Chef Ömür Akkor and Prof. Çetin Şenkul from Süleyman Demirel University will give two lectures as part of the PRIN 2022 project ‘Ancient Landscapes of Anatolia in the Bronze Age’ (ALandA)
On the morning of Tuesday, May 6, Chef Ömür Akkor will give a lecture entitled “Anatolian Paleo-Gastronomy Atlas”, which will focus on the culinary traditions of ancient Anatolia.
This will be followed by a lecture by Prof. Çetin Şenkul (Süleyman Demirel University) entitled “Environmental Transformations and Human Resilience in Anatolia”, which will address environmental changes and the relationship between communities and landscapes in the region.
The lectures will be introduced by Prof. Luca Peyronel and Prof. Fikri Kulakoğlu.
